This is a pure soy wax candle hand-poured in the handmade workshop located in San Foca,in the heart of Salento(Puglia) ( Italy).
The candle has a clean burn and long life, does not release toxic substances as it is 100% natural.
The wick used is made of pure cotton.
Description
Be sure to place your candle on a heat-resistant surface before lighting it.
The candle should stay lit at least long enough for the top layer to melt completely so as to avoid the formation of a central crater.
To prevent the flame from becoming too high and the wick from slipping sideways in the melted wax, it is advisable not to keep the candle burning for more than 3 consecutive hours.
Extinguish the candle properly.
Do not blow! You may cause dangerous wax splashing. You can extinguish the candle by smothering the flame: without oxygen, the candle will burn out quickly.
The ideal method would be to dip the wick into the liquid wax with the help of the tip of scissors or tweezers and then bring it back upright.
This way, no fumes are generated and the wick remains well waxed and ready for the next lighting.
